Data privacy notice
Your personal data contained in your Expression of Interest will be provided to Cardiff University only, as the Data Controller. In providing your personal data, we will process your data as part of our provision of a task in the public interest, that of providing training opportunities for those carrying out research in the public interest and also the promotion and advancement of research in order to contribute to the social, cultural and economic development. We will use the data provided to assess the quality of each individual candidate and the application, before proceeding with the full application.
The personal data that you have supplied on the Expression of Interest form will be securely stored on the Cardiff University server, accessed by those administering the scheme and those assessing the Expressions of Interest. Your information will be held by Cardiff University until the point of full application, at which point it will be deleted. The Marie Sklodowska Curie Individual Fellowship application deadline is 12th October 2021, so this is the latest point that we will delete your data.
Cardiff University is the Data Controller and is committed to respecting and protecting your personal data in accordance with your expectations and Data Protection legislation.
