We are in close contact with Public Health Wales and other official government bodies. The latest information including health and travel advice is available from the Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England (PHE), the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), the Welsh Government and Public Health Wales.
Open Days and Offer Holder days
We have taken the decision to cancel all upcoming Open Days and Offer Holder days. We will be in contact with those who have previously booked places once we have more information about alternative or future events.
Unfortunately, the University is unable to reimburse travel, hotel and associated costs.
It is with deep regret that we have decided to postpone the summer 2020 graduation ceremonies. We appreciate this news will be disappointing but we can assure you that this decision has not been taken lightly.
Our primary concern is the health and wellbeing of our students, their guests and our staff – especially in such difficult and challenging times.
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to say when the postponed ceremonies will run. As soon as we do, we will update our graduation website and contact all students who were eligible to attend July’s ceremonies with the new arrangements. All students will have the opportunity to celebrate with us on a future occasion.
It is important to stress that our decision does not impact on the University awarding degrees. Provided students meet the requirements of their course we will confer their degree. We will make sure we get award documents (degree certificate and final transcript) to students in the normal way, as soon as possible after receiving their results.
