We encourage you to use public transport to get to Cardiff and to cycle or walk whenever possible when you are here.

University accommodation

Student accommodation in a University Hall of Residence is available, subject to availability. We have negotiated a group booking reduced rate at locations close to the Law Building.

Aberdare Hall

This has single rooms with shared bathrooms. Rates (for 2 nights or more) are £22.25 per person per night self-catering, or £31.75 per person per night including breakfast.

This has single rooms with en-suite facilities. Rates are £27 per person per night self-catering, or £36.50 per person per night including breakfast.

Hotels

Cardiff offers a wide range of hotels that are within a short walk of the University campus. Participants are requested to book their own accommodation directly with their chosen hotel.

As well as competitively-priced university accommodation, we have arranged conference rates at the following city centre hotels, all of which are within walking distance of the school. The final dinner (Saturday 30) will be at the Hilton. These rates are valid until 28 days before expected date of arrival:

Angel Hotel

Sunday to Thursday £63 per room per night for single occupancy; £73.00 per room per night for double occupancy. Includes breakfast.

Friday and Saturday nights are £99 per room per night for single occupancy and £109 per room per night double occupancy including breakfast.

Holiday Inn, Cardiff City Centre

£95 single and double occupancy rooms, including breakfast. Guests will need to call or email direct and quote group code "CAR".

They are unable to offer an option to do this online.

Hilton Hotel

Rate for more than one night = £105.00 single occupancy; £115.00 double occupancy – includes breakfast.

Rate for Saturday 30 June only, if booking just one night = £145 single occupancy; £155 double occupancy.

The rate code is set up for the length of stay however should any guests wish to stay Saturday 30th June only, please note the higher rate and you will need to email ceri.jones@hilton.com who will make the booking directly at the hotel for you.
