2016 UK-Ireland Planning Research Conference
6-7 September 2016. This conference is a key arena for academics and practitioners to share the latest research on spatial, regional, neighbourhood and community planning.
On the 6 and 7 September 2016, the School of Geography and Planning celebrates fifty years of planning education and research.
The conference provides an opportunity to look to the next fifty years and towards the longer term.
The School’s choice of conference theme is inspired by the Welsh Government’s innovative Well-being of Future Generations Act 2015. The Act reinforces many of the central principles of planning including collaborative working, engaging communities and considering the longer-term in public life.
