School seminars

We hold regular seminars in the School to discuss a wide range of exciting and thought-provoking research topics. Speakers include both members of staff and invited guests.

From Wednesday 4 October 2017, all seminars will take place on Wednesdays at 14:00 in Queen's Buildings, Room C/2.07.

Colleagues and research students from across the University are welcome to join us. Members of the general public are also welcome but please email a member of the seminar team if you would like to reserve a space. Places are subject to availability.

On 1 November 2017, Timothy J. Norman from the University of Southampton will discuss normative reasoning and planning.

Experiences of Teaching Web/Mobile Development and HCI

On 8 November 2017, Dr Mark Dunlop from the University of Strathclyde, will talk about the benefits and problems of using traditional and online teaching methods.

Research Integrity at Cardiff University

On 15 November 2017, Emma Cullen will discuss the important principle of 'Research Integrity' at Cardiff University.
