Physics AS Summer Programme 2023

The Physics AS Summer Programme is a free event that will take place between Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st June at 10:00-16:30.

A more detailed programme will be released closer to the time, but the event will include talks, lectures and workshops delivered by staff and students from the School of Physics and Astronomy.

Lectures and workshops will be targeted at AS level (Year 12) students and provide an insight into Physics beyond A-level, such as:

  • gravitational waves astronomy and cosmology
  • medical physics
  • nano physics
  • lasers
  • semiconductor technology
