Our Discover Economics workshops provide an insight into studying economics and introduce your students to the various careers and apprenticeships.

Economics is an exciting subject, however many have very little idea what economics is really about. Our workshops are designed to give your students an insight into studying economics at A level or degree level. They will be introduced to different careers and apprenticeships and can help with meeting Gatsby Benchmarks. The workshops can also be linked to the curriculum in Maths, Business Studies or Geography.

Our workshops will provide your students an introduction to economics and covers areas such as:

  • inequality
  • economic growth
  • panic-buying
  • education
  • cost-of-living crisis
  • the gender pay gap

The workshop is a one-off session and is delivered by one of our current economics students. They are designed to be delivered in regular classes that can be adapted to fit with your school timetable. They can also be delivered multiple times to several classes in a year.
