Summer AS Level Physics Programme

Physics workshop aimed at AS level students pursuing a physics degree.

This free event will take place at Cardiff University School of Physics and Astronomy. A more detailed programme will be released closer to the time but will include talks, lectures and workshops delivered by staff and students from the School of Physics and Astronomy. Lectures and workshops will be targeted at AS level (Year 12) students and provide an insight into Physics beyond A level, such as:

  • gravitational waves
  • astronomy and cosmology
  • medical physics
  • nanophysics
  • lasers
  • semiconductor technology.
