Education for all

Our vision is that everyone, regardless of their background or personal experience, is inspired to consider higher education as an achievable option and is supported to reach their full potential.

Our work has a particular focus on people who are under-represented in higher education and have experienced educational disadvantage or disruption.

Our specially designed programmes give people access to inspiring new experiences and opportunities. Our range of educational resources and activities for teachers, families and school pupils of all ages aims to raise aspirations and support the teaching of the new curriculum in Wales.

For adults

Our Welsh for Adults programme has been running for over 30 years, benefiting Welsh learners in the community as well as our own staff and students.

Our range of flexible part-time courses for adults provides a way for adult learners to increase their knowledge and improve their career prospects. There are also opportunities to study towards qualifications, and we provide pathways to study an undergraduate degree with the university.

We offer short Continued Professional Development courses, including free online courses, to develop skills. Some courses are designed for those in particular professional fields, whilst others cover more general skills of value to a wide range of people and employers.
