Microsoft Access 2013: Designing and Creating Your Database Tables

This one-day session is designed for anyone creating a database using Microsoft Access.

This session only covers one stage of database use: the storage of information in tables. If you are looking for a comprehensive Microsoft Access training course, our three-day Microsoft Access: Comprehensive course may be more appropriate for you.

About the course

This training looks at the fundamental process of creating tables in a Microsoft Access database, focusing on creating and working with related the tables of information, which form the core of any database system.

The course covers:

  • designing and creating tables
  • entering data into tables
  • establishing links between tables to construct a relational database.


You must be familiar with the Microsoft Office interface and the use of the mouse and keyboard.


£125 (plus VAT) for non-profit making organisations eg other universities, charities, and government bodies, including Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

£150 (plus VAT) for commercial organisations.
