Professor Sir Adrian Webb

Professor Sir Adrian Webb was an academic from 1966 to 1993 at the London School of Economics and Loughborough University.

During his academic career he published 17 books/monographs and contributed numerous chapters/articles to other works.

During his Higher Education career, he held a number of senior management positions including Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Loughborough University and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Glamorgan. He also held numerous roles in SSRC, UGC, UFC, QAA, and chaired six Research Assessment Excellence panels.

Professor Sir Adrian Webb has also held a wide range of public service/consultancy roles in local and central government (including HM Treasury, DHSS, Home Office, DFES, and the Ministry of Justice) and in Wales. He has also held many roles in Third Sector.

Professor Sir Adrian Webb received a Knighthood in 2000.
