MSc Public Leadership

Join our unique, challenge-based graduate programme designed to link research and practice and help you engage with complex service issues in new ways.

We've created a programme that’s designed to fit around your work and home commitments with teaching delivered in three-day blocks across 28 months.

It’s a perfect fit for experienced practitioners from a variety of public service specialisms, including: education, environmental protection, fire and rescue, health care, housing, planning, policing, social services and the third sector

Connect, innovate and deliver

You’ll work in collaboration with a team of internationally recognised academics and experienced practitioners from a range of public services, advisory bodies and think tanks.

Over two years of study, our experts will introduce you to developments in leadership, change, policy and innovation in the public service sector.

To complement our challenge-focused curriculum, you’ll attend workshops, seminars and coaching sessions led by high-profile guest speakers.

These sessions will address specific career challenges and enhance your capability as a reflective leader in preparation for a work-based project which concludes the degree.

This capstone project addresses a real-life policy issue relevant to your job role and workplace.
