Offer Holder Days
Our Offer Holder Days are a chance for you to experience a day as an architecture student at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University.
Once you receive your offer to study our Architecture BSc/MArch, we will email to invite you to one of our Offer Holder Days. These usually take place around between February and March, you can select the date that suits you.
Accepting a university offer is a big decision and you'll need all the information available to help you make up your mind. Offer Holder Days are specifically designed for offer holders and allow you the opportunity to find out more about studying at Cardiff University.
You will have an opportunity to speak to our staff and current students and have a tour of the Welsh School of Architecture and its facilities.
What to expect
Our Offer Holder Days normally starts around 10.00 and finish around 16:00. There will be presentations providing information about the course and what our School has to offer. Our students will provide tours of our building which will include our studio space and facilities.
You will carry out an Architectural task within a group and be supported by one of our students. This gives a great opportunity to get to know our students and gain real insight into their life as an Architecture student at Cardiff University. As a group you will also create a model and present your ideas.
There will be an opportunity for parents/guests to ask the Admissions Tutor and current students questions about any aspect of university life.
We've planned the day in a way that gives you plenty of opportunities to ask informal questions and talk with staff and students.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many students may have missed out on Open Day and Offer Holder Day activities. While you are at home why not try our 'Light, Atmosphere, Scale' origami task?
