MSc Advanced Building Performance Evaluation

This programme equips professionals with the interdisciplinary skills needed to promote the efficient and effective operation of existing buildings.
The programme focuses on the energy and environmental performance of existing buildings and integrates technical and human factors. It responds to the need to improve the quality of environments and, at the same time, to reduce buildings’ energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
It enables students to evaluate how the building design performs during operation. The MSc in Advanced Building Performance Evaluation aims to give you a solid foundation in the evaluation of the operational performance of buildings. This course was formerly called MSc Building Diagnostics for Energy and Environmental Performance.

This course helped me to realise my dream to deliver a better world by applying problem-solving skills to address poor building performance. I enjoyed the small class atmosphere where I could express ideas and get immediate responses. What I liked most were the study trips were we explored different buildings allowing us to combine our theoretical knowledge with practical activities.
