Student wins Norah Isaac award

One of our final year students, Cerith Rhys Jones, will receive the Norah Jones award at the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol’s assembly in Carmarthen tonight. The award is given to the student who has achieved the highest mark in the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol’s Welsh Language Skills Certificate.

Students who are studying at a university in Wales can apply for the Coleg’s Welsh Language Skills Certificate. The Certificate offers students the opportunity to gain a qualification which demonstrates their Welsh language skills and enables them to provide employers with evidence of their ability to communicate confidently and professionally in both written and spoken Welsh.
