Three graduates from the School of Welsh are taking part in a poetry and music show celebrating the Romany Gypsy in Wales. Cnoi Draenogod is currently touring the country. The show is supported by Literature Wales and explores Romany tradition in the country, suggesting that there is Romany blood in all Welsh people and that each and every one of us can relate to their way of life.
There are four members of the team – Rhys Iorwerth, Osian Rhys Jones, Anni Llŷn and Llŷr Gwyn Lewis. Rhys Iorwerth and Anni Llŷn studied our creative writing undergraduate modules before completing an M.A. in the school (creative route). Llŷr Gwyn Lewis is doing a PhD here in the School of Welsh and the School of English, Communication and Philosophy comparing the work of T. Gwynn Jones and W.B. Yeats.

The next show will be held in Cardiff on 15 February in Clwb y Diwc, Canton.
