Scholarships available for Postgraduate Study

The School of Welsh invites applications for 2011/12 postgraduate studentships funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. The scholarships are available to students who wish to follow a Master’s course in Celtic Studies or a PhD in Creative Writing. These studentships are available from Cardiff University's AHRC Block Grant Partnership award.
AHRC postgraduate studentships provide full awards for part-time or full-time study to UK and EU candidates. Applicants must have gained an undergraduate degree from a recognised university, or be a current undergraduate expecting to graduate before 31 July 2011. Those applying for a doctoral award should normally have, or be studying for, a Master's degree.
