Postgraduate
Taught Masters
The School of Welsh offers one MA programme, either full-time or part-time, namely an MA in Welsh and Celtic Studies. The School also contributes to an MA in Early Celtic Studies and an MA in Medieval British Studies. These are modular programmes. A wide range of optional modules are offered, giving students the opportunity to specialise in fields relevant to their interests, including a creative writing route on the MA in Welsh.
Research Degrees
The School welcomes MPhil and PhD students to work on a variety of topics. The research interests and expertise of the staff include the Welsh language, Welsh literature, and the social and international aspects of linguistic minorities. An MPhil and PhD in Creative Writing is now also available.
