The main entrance to the Tower Building is on Park Place. There is a set of steps with handrails both sides and an external lift for wheelchair users. The lift can only be operated with an activated Cardiff University ID card. If you require regular use of the lift, please e-mail estate-accessibility@cardiff.ac.uk.

Visitors and infrequent lift users will need to telephone security on +44 (0)29 2087 4444. There is level access from the Tower Building to the Biomedical Sciences decking area via motorised doors to the left of the main entrance.

The reception desk opposite the main entrance is fitted with an induction loop for people with hearing impairments. There are two lifts that service all floors in the Tower Building, however there is restricted access to the first and second floors. A key will be issued at reception to access these floors.

The Tower refectory is located on the ground floor, opposite the main entrance. There is a shop with a seating area and computers are available for internet access.

Accessible unisex toilets are located on the ground and third floors. Toilet 0.06, on the ground floor is situated to the left of the main entrance, through the motorised double doors. The third floor toilet is room number 3.06.

Parking

There is street parking along Park Place and Museum Avenue for visitors and infrequent building users, where blue badge holders can park free of charge.

Bicycle parking

There are 30 bicycle parking spaces shared between two locations around the building.
