The Glamorgan Building has level access from the road to the pavement in front of the building, at the entry points to the building forecourt. There are dropped kerbs along King Edward VII Avenue.

The main entrance to the Glamorgan Building is via steps with handrails. There is a revolving door to enter the building.

The accessible entrance to the Glamorgan Building, is located down a short path to the left of the building. This entrance is restricted for security purposes and can only be opened with a validated University identification card. Please contact your tutor, manager or security if you wish to validate your card to use this entrance door.

The card reader is at an accessible height and when activated the door opens automatically.

There is a shallow ramp leading from the entrance door into the corridor.

Visitors and infrequent building users: please use the intercom at the side of the door to contact reception to open the door. It is advised to contact reception before visiting if you do not have a validated University I.D. card.

If you are holding an event at the Glamorgan Building, please ensure that arrangements are put in place for attendees using this entrance.

Parking

University car parks are monitored by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras and foot patrol officers.

Only authorised vehicles that have paid for parking can use the car parks.

Certain car parks offer Pay as you go (PAYG) parking via RingGo, details of these car parks can be found on our Visitor Parking page

Blue Badge holders can park for free but will need to email their vehicle registration number to carparking@cardiff.ac.uk within 24 hours of their visit.

Parking on campus is limited.

There are 41 bicycle parking spaces shared between three locations around the building.
