Welcome to the web pages of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office which have been designed to offer an overview of our activities and give contact information for the Vice-Chancellor and members of his team.
The Office provides a focal point for the co-ordination and integration of University business, providing advice and support to the Vice-Chancellor* on the full-range of strategic, policy and management matters. The team provides academic leadership for the achievement of the University’s strategic goals including building on the many excellent existing interdisciplinary initiatives across the University.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Office works closely with the Administrative Directorates in University–wide strategic initiatives including early-stage strategy development, philanthropic goal-setting and corporate fundraising; and the Directors also play an important role in advising the Vice-Chancellor on the management of the University in pursuing its vision, aims and objectives.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Office sponsors and co-ordinates a number of external facing events, including the UniGov Seminars, the annual Hadyn Ellis Distinguished Lecture and the Pro Vice-Chancellors’ Equality and Diversity Lecture Series.
