The Sustainable Places Research Institute will tackle one of the world's most pressing social and environmental issues - how to build and redesign cities and regions which will prosper as the climate changes and resources diminish.
Our towns and cities, our transport, and the buildings we live and work in, all have a major impact on our environment and must be transformed if we are to achieve a sustainable future.
