Clearing and Adjustment
Clearing is a service that can help those without a place at university to find a vacancy on a suitable course. Clearing operates between mid July and September, but most people use it after their exam results are published in August.
You should be eligible for clearing if:
- you hold no offers: you did not receive any offers/ declined all offers made or did not respond in time to any offers made
- you applied after 30 June
- you did not meet the conditions of your offers.
Eligibility for clearing will be displayed on UCAS Track. For further information, please visit the UCAS website.
This is a process by which students who have met and exceeded the terms of their conditional firm acceptance may be able to change their choice of course or university.
Please see the UCAS website for further information and details about eligibility.
