As well as places to socialise and various eateries, all of this is inside the Union complex.

The University is part of the Santander Universities network, which brings a wealth of benefits to the university community. Among them is a tailored service from fully qualified staff and a wide range of products, some of which are exclusive to our students.

This includes preferential rates on savings, mortgages and home insurance, plus personal banking advisors who are specialists in student banking.

Blackwell Bookshop is one of the leading academic retailers in the UK and are located in The Mall on the ground floor in the Students' Union. Blackwell liaises with University departments to ensure that they stock many of the books your Academic Schools recommend.

The box office sells tickets to all of our popular club nights, special events, gigs and much more. There's even an online box office so you can buy tickets from the comfort of your own home.

Cutting Edge is based in the Mall on the ground floor of the Students' Union building. It offers a full range of hairdressing for men and women and an NUS discount to boot.

Cardiff Student Letting is our very own in-house letting agency. Based on the ground floor of the Students' Union building on Park Place in the Mall, Cardiff Student Letting was the UK's first Students' Union-owned letting agency.

Cardiff Student Letting are one of the only agencies in Cardiff to charge no agency fees to students renting through them.

The Print Centre is your one-stop-shop for your printing needs. Whether you need flyers to promote a society event, to preserve the hard work of your dissertation by having it printed and bound or to simply photocopy lecture notes for a friend, the Print Centre can help. 

The Print Centre also offers student discount for NUS card holders.

The WHSmith Union Shop offers a whole range of products to Cardiff University students – everything from sandwiches and groceries to Cardiff University-branded clothing and sportswear.

The Student Advice team offer free advice, information, advocacy and representation to all students at Cardiff University. All of these services are confidential, impartial and independent. 

You can drop in, book an appointment, email or phone them. The team also undertakes other activities and events to develop awareness of rights and responsibilities, as well as promote and support the health and wellbeing of students.

Unistaff Jobshop is a free service provided by the Students' Union which helps to find casual employment for Cardiff University students.

The IT Shop provides laptops and desktop computers which are fully integrated into the Cardiff University network to students and staff. 

Computers can be bought outright or payments can be spread out over a number of months to suit students' financial situations. 

The IT Shop also provides laptops and mobile internet cards for short-to-medium term rental. It also sells a wide range of stationary and computer accessories.
