Sports clubs

We have over 60 sports clubs ranging from traditional sports, such as rugby, football, cricket or tennis, to martial arts, motorsport and watersports.

Many of our Athletic Union sports clubs travel all over the UK to compete against other universities in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competition.

In addition to our Athletic Union sports clubs, we also have a huge Intra-Mural Games (IMG) programme, with course, society and friendship group teams playing weekly in our recreational, fun and competitive sports leagues in netball, 11-a-side football and 7-a-side football.
