Pain management

We offer a range of standalone modules in pain management. All modules can be studied individually to contribute to your continuing professional development portfolio.

The modules are also available as part of the MSc Pain Management and Postgraduate Certificate Pain Management (Primary and Community Care). Each standalone 20 credit Level 7 module runs once per academic year and is delivered entirely online via distance-learning.

We are pleased to be able to offer 50% bursaries to UK NHS staff for 2018/9 entry on to the MSc Pain Management, Postgraduate Certificate Pain Management (Primary and Community Care), MET275 Foundation in Primary Care Pain Management standalone module and, MET235 Fundamentals in Pain Management  standalone module.

Foundation in Primary Care Pain Management

This module is aimed at GPs and Pharmacists with a special interest in pain and primary and community health care professionals.

Pain Management Standalone Modules

These online modules provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) education for healthcare professionals who want to specialise in the field of pain management. They are also aimed at educationalists, to provide the appropriate knowledge and expertise on pain, to teach others from various disciplines.
