The Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education statistics show that 90.2% of our taught postgraduates who responded to the survey were in employment or further study during the first six months after graduation (for those graduating between academic years 2011/12 and 2013/2014.

Subject specific career advisers provide careers advice in our Careers & Employability Centre and help you develop your career plans after graduation. We also have extensive online resources available to postgraduate students of Cardiff University to help with skills planning and skills development.
The centre also includes extensive information resources managed by experienced information staff and provides a wide range of materials including occupational information, DVDs and an online vacancy bulletin.
In addition to tailored careers provision within academic Schools, a full Careers Programme runs throughout the year and includes employer fairs and presentations, careers talks and workshops run by careers staff and employers to help you hone your CV writing skills, perfect your interview technique, write applications and present yourself effectively.

Skills Development Service
The Skills Development Service provides a range of courses aimed at building your confidence, improving your transferable skills and increasing your employability potential. Certificates are awarded for successful completion of courses and are highly regarded by employers. The Skills Development Service is supported by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
