Parking is not available on site or within a three mile radius at the following residences:

- Aberdare Hall
- Colum Hall
- Gordon Hall
- Senghennydd Hall
- Student Houses (Colum Road/Place)
- Student Houses/Flats (Village)
- Talybont Court
- Talybont South
Parking is restricted at the following halls of residence to those students with an allocated parking permit (if you have not been allocated a parking permit then you will be unable to park on site, or within a three mile radius):
- Cartwright Court
- Hodge Hall
- Roy Jenkins Hall
- Senghennydd Court
- Talybont Court (disabled students’ permits only)
- Talybont Gate
- Talybont North
- University Hall
For security purposes, all motor vehicles parked on University owned property must display a valid parking permit. Any vehicle not displaying a parking permit will be subject to further action, possibly resulting in a fixed penalty being issued. You are advised to secure your vehicle at all times and not leave valuable items in your vehicle.
To allow for the access of emergency vehicles at any time, all vehicles must be parked in designated resident parking spaces. Please note, there is a 5mph speed restriction on all residences sites.
Alternative means of transport
Most students find it easy to get around Cardiff and the surrounding area by walking, cycling or using public transport. Cardiff has an excellent local transport network. For further information, please refer to the contacts below:

University Hall students
For University Hall students, there is a dedicated bus service to and from the Cathays Park Campus and Heath Park Campus. This service runs weekdays between 19 September 2018 and 14 June 2019, generally at the following times:
- Cathays Park Campus – 8:20 - 17:30
- Heath Park Campus – 8:20 - 17:30.
Please note, this service is not available during the Christmas recess (15 December 2018 to 6 January 2019) and the Easter recess (13 April 2019 to 5 May 2019).
