The student representation system within the University

The student voice is heard through the Student Staff Panel to the Student Representative Co-ordinator in each School before being passed into the University committee system This diagram displays the University committee system feeding up from the bottom through each individual School (blue), into the four policy networks, which discuss University policy, up to the higher committees which agree University policy and key strategic decisions that the University makes.

Almost all the University committees have student representation on them

 

This is the same diagram with all the purple boxes showing which committees have student representation on them, either through Student Academic Reps or Students’ Union officers.
