Visas and immigration
Cardiff University offers advice and guidance on immigration matters to current and prospective students and their immediate dependants. We are unable to advise on matters relating to asylum, applications for permanent residence in the UK, or offer specialist advice on visas that are not related to study, but we will help identify appropriate sources of help.
Sophie Pandey, Elin Osmond and Elisabeth Williams are fully trained and experienced International Student Advisers. They are the only members of staff in the University authorised by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner to give immigration advice.
Advice is offered free of charge and without discrimination. We operate within the Code of Ethics for those advising international students devised by UKCISA: the UK Council for International Student Affairs and the Association of International Student Advisers.
Information for prospective students can be found here.
