Postgraduate Certificate (Safeguarding Children)
This is a specialist Postgraduate Certificate Safeguarding Children, providing students with a flexible route to pursue their specialist area.
The programme aims to develop an understanding of, and effective practices for, safeguarding children and young people, and to develop students' awareness and understanding of key considerations within the context of partnership working.
It is particularly suited to those who work regularly with children and young people.
The Postgraduate Certificate programme comprises of two modules that are credit rated. Each taught module offers 30 credits.
Students will study the two following modules:
On successful completion of two masters level modules of 30 credits each it is possible for the 60 credits to be incorporated into the MSc in Advanced Practice programme. Please note: this must take place within 3 years.
