Advanced Clinical Assessment for Healthcare Professionals (NRT181)
Suitable for emergency/urgent care practitioners including paramedics, ENPs, APs, practice nurses and extended scope physiotherapists.
This module will focus on enabling students working within emergency and unscheduled care environments to develop their clinical patient assessment and diagnostic skills within their specific area of practice. It is aimed at healthcare professionals (nurses, paramedics and allied healthcare professionals) working at or towards advanced levels of practice. It has been designed to build on their current physical assessment knowledge, understanding and skills and take these to an advanced level within their specific area of practice.
The module will be delivered over 12 weeks (dates below)
The module will be assessed via a 3000 word reflection and a summative Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).

Applicants will be expected to provide two references and a personal statement reflecting their clinical and personal developmental requirements.
