Degree Programmes

Cardiff School of Nursing and Midwifery Studies is committed to, and renowned for, excellence in teaching and research. The programmes have been specifically designed to provide a range of knowledge and skills required for practice in a variety of care settings. You will enjoy high quality teaching, world class resources and well-established systems of student support. 

The School has close links with the Nursing Directorate of the Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board, Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board and Velindre NHS Trust who provide the majority of the clinical experience students will gain during their studies. 

We aim to provide high quality courses and a friendly and stimulating environment in which you will be able to both fulfil your potential and enjoy studying with us.

The School offers two three-year pre-registration full-time degree schemes: the Bachelor of Nursing, in Adult Nursing, Children's Nursing, or Mental Health Nursing and the Bachelor of Midwifery.
