School Enrolment

The following schedule gives the details of school enrolment for each module that is commencing this semester.

Funding

You will be asked to confirm your funding arrangements for your course fees at School enrolment.

NMC PIN Card: (UK Students only)

You are required to produce your current NMC PIN card at enrolment.

What is a Cardiff University Student Card?

It is advisable that you apply for this card if you are likely to be using resources or facilities on campus during your study.

This card has a number of important functions:

  • Library and E-learning card
  • Proximity card (entry to various University buildings)
  • Proof of Identity
  • Proof of membership of National Union Students (NUS)

You must submit a passport photograph with your application. The card will be pre-produced for you to collect in person.

Please note before obtaining your Cardiff University student card:

You must complete online enrolment

You must provide proof of identity at collection

You will not be issued with a card unless you are a registered student and provide the appropriate Identification at collection (Please note, you are not required to send in proof of identity, you should bring this with you to the appropriate venue).

It is advisable that you return your completed application form and photograph as soon as you receive your enrolment information.

Collecting your Cardiff University Student Card in Person

Your Cardiff University student card will be produced and issued to you at the venue listed below.

Please note before obtaining your Cardiff University student card:

You must complete online enrolment

You must provide proof of your identity at collection

You should have your student number to hand when you attend the venue

You will not be issued with a card unless you have registered online and have provided the appropriate identification on collection of your card (Please note, you are not required to send in proof of identity, you should bring this with you to the appropriate venue).

What to expect at student card venues 

On arrival at the student card venue, you will be asked whether you have enrolled online. (If you have not enrolled online, you will be asked to complete your registration online before returning for your card).

If you have completed online enrolment, you will be directed to a camera station where you will be asked for your student number, required to provide proof of your identity, have your photograph taken and be issued with your student card.
