GP admissions unit for patients with new or ongoing medical problems
Clients:
Adults over the age of 16 years old
Key Learning Opportunities:
- assessment and triage skills
- acute/chronic medical conditions
- linking in with members of the MDT (OT, physio, SALT, dieticians)
- spending time with various nurse specialists (pain nurse, wound nurse, nurse practitioners, addictions nurse)
