Key Learning Opportunities: 

Emergency trauma care, pre-operative and post operative care of the trauma patient with a variety of different conditions, Theatres, trauma clinic and plaster room.

Shifts:

  • 0700 - 1930
  • 1930 - 0730

with the option of shorter shifts.

Preparation for Practice:

Review A&P of bones, muscles and joints and key Trauma and orthopaedic textbooks to prepare for clinical placement. Contact the ward for off-duty and mentor allocation. An induction pack is provided.
