General Surgical (Short Stay Monday – Saturday afternoon. Ward closed Sunday)

Adult surgery

  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of surgical patients
  • Interdisciplinary working
  • Opportunities to develop knowledge of day surgery, gynaecology (Anwen)  & CAVOC (Bethan word works closely with these units)

Preparation for Practice:

Supports 1 x 2nd year 1 x 3rd year management student

Shifts:

  • 12 hour shifts
  • 0700 - 1500
  • 1200 - 2000
