Key Learning Opportunities: 

Ty Bryn is a 9 bedded integrated EMI unit. It offers assessment, care and treatment to people over the age of 65 who are suspected to be or have been previously diagnosed as suffering with functional mental disorders. Respite care is offered to those with organic illness.

The unit offers its services to those resident in Monmouthshire and is in regularly accesses members of the multi disciplinary team. During placement students have the opportunity to spend time with other service providers from the multidisciplinary team.
