After a career in mental health and adult nursing I entered nurse education in 1997 as a Tutor (Nursing) in Swansea University. A 2 year secondment as a RCBC post-doctoral Fellow followed the award of my PhD in 2006. Upon my return to Swansea University I was the Health Sciences Director of Postgraduate Studies from 2008 until my move to Cardiff University in the summer of 2011.
