April 2000 – August 2005. Research Fellow/Senior Lecturer.  Northumbria University, School of Health, Community and Education Studies. Joint appointment responsible for project management and post graduate course development.

April 1995 - April 2000.  Senior Lecturer. University of Northumbria, Newcastle, Faculty of Health, Social Work and Education. Responsible for curriculum development and delivery for pre-registration nursing students. Special interest in Research methods, Continuing care, Critical Practice
