Scapulohumeral assessment in the clinical setting: the development of a robust measurement tool

The aim of this study is to develop an integrated approach to the assessment of scapulohumeral function in the clinical setting. Questionnaire data looking at current clinical practice amongst physiotherapists working with shoulder pain patients has already been collected and this will be combined with evidence from the published literature to inform the methodology. It is intended that the involvement of clinicians in the analysis of the data and the final development and refinement of the measurement tool will enhance its clinical relevance and use ability.
