Aim
The aim of this module is to provide an opportunity for the application, and critical evaluation of theory, and for the development of innovative clinical assessment and management of specific disorders in the clinical setting, under the supervision of a suitable clinician (MACP approved for MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy). It will allow for synthesis of the theoretical and practical components of the pre-requisite modules. The module will allow for further development of clinical reasoning, problem solving and reflection skills through discussion and clinical practice. Communication and interpersonal skills will be developed alongside the further development of the psychomotor skills required for the management of specific disorders.
For the MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy these aims are aligned with requirements for membership of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
