Cardiff School of Healthcare Studies

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Director of Innovation & International and Programme Manager for the MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy. I completed my PhD in Cardiff University on the challenges of functional coping in ACL deficiency. I also work as a part time clinician at the Vale Healthcare Bay Clinic, Cardiff.

My main area of experience is in the field of sports injury management, with a specific interest in sports rehabilitation. Sports experience includes working with the Welsh and British Weightlifting teams, professional rugby union, Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games. I am currently working on a consultancy basis, through Cardiff University, for Sport Wales, developing physiotherapy support services for High Performance athletes in Wales. Research and clinical interest within this field is in functional rehabilitation of knee and shoulder injuries.
