Mr Richard Day 


Graduated BSc (Hon’s) Physiotherapy 1997 from the University of Wales College of Medicine. Developed an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy supported with a variety of roles and postgraduate courses within the NHS.

Joined the School of Healthcare Studies, Cardiff University as a lecturer in August 2004, completed a MSc in Pain Management 2009 within the School of Medicine, Cardiff University.
Teaches on the BSc (Hon’s) Physiotherapy programme and a range of MSc level degrees for the School of Healthcare Studies, and is the current Admission Tutor for the BSc (Hon’s) Physiotherapy.
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Heath Professions Council.

Current research interests include the relationship between expectation, pain and osteoarthritis, as well as the development of outcome measures for the assessment of advanced rehabilitation skills.
