Realising GP Professionalism in Wales
Realising Professionalism: An exploration of GPs understandings and experiences of professional practice and modernisation in Wales
Aims of Project
To contribute to the development of the field of medical (professional) education, by generating theoretically informed understandings of the meanings that doctors generate when talking about their experience of ‘doctoring’ in Wales. This project is situated within a broader research programme on constructs and processes involved in the training and life−long learning of medical practitioners in Wales.
(Note that ‘doctoring’ is defined as the practices, structures, values, knowledges and interactions that impact on general practitioners’ daily work).
