Tinkering and Tailoring: the Reform of 14-19 Education in England
In this peer reviewed journal article the reviewers noted that it was a timely, interesting and well written article making a clear presentation and argument, which detailed and critically analysed the reform of 14-19 education policy. By providing a review of incremental changes over the last thirty years it provided a critical commentary of more recent reforms with a focus on attempts to individualise or ‘tailor’ curriculum provision. Thus it contributed to contemporary policy and academic debates on curriculum reform.
