SOCSI Graduation 2010

Monday 12th July saw the Graduation Ceremony for over 200 undergraduates and over 100 postgraduates from SOCSI. The ceremony was held at St David's Hall, the National Concert Hall and Conference Centre of Wales.

24 undergraduates across the range of degrees awarded were presented with a First Class Honours Degree. Over half the undergraduate degrees were Bachelor of Economic and Social Sciences, with 37 awards of a Bachelor of Arts and 70 Bachelor of Science.

Moving onto the Higher Degrees presented, 34 students received their Postgraduate Certificate in Education and 10 students received their Professional Graduate Certificate in Education. 23 awards of Master of Arts in Social Work were given out, along with approximately 36 Master of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice, Education, Equality and Diversity and Advanced Social Work. One Master of Philosophy was also presented along with 13 Doctor of Philosophy, including 1 Nippon Foundation Research Fellow.

A post-ceremony party was held in the School for all graduates and their families. The School of Social Sciences would like to congratulate the new graduates for their hard work and effort, and wish all the best for the future.
