This is the fourth in an ESRC series of seminars which focus on ways of measuring and surveying work attitudes (broadly defined, see (http://www.bath.ac.uk/soc-pol/wam-net/home.html).
This seminar is organized by Alan Felstead and will take place on Wednesday 15 October in Cardiff at the Cardiff School of Social Sciences. Speakers include:
- Duncan Gallie (Oxford) – ‘The Changing Orientations to Work of British Employees 1992-2006’
- Michael White (PSI) – ‘Work Orientations of Older Workers’
- Anna Pollert (West of England) – ‘Researching “Unorganized” Workers’ Experience and Attitudes’
- Ralph Fevre, Trevor Jones, Amanda Robinson and Martyn Rogers (Cardiff) & Duncan Lewis (Glamorgan) – ‘An Integrated Approach to Improving the Methodology of Research on Workplace Behaviour’
- Francis Green (Kent) – ‘Subjective Employment Insecurity Around the World’
There is no charge for the event, but all delegates must register with Lenka Banovcova (ssplb@bath.ac.uk).
