MSc Social Science Research Methods - The programme aims to provide advanced training in research methods across the full range of the social sciences, and lays the foundation for doctoral studies in the School.

Please Note: Applications for the September 2013 entry on the MSc Education and MSc Criminology and Criminal Justice have been suspended while the School of Social Sciences revalidates these programmes for the September 2014 entry. MA Social Work - This programme aims to enable students to build upon their existing academic and occupational experience and to achieve a professional qualification in social work within a 2 year period.
The Masters in Educational Practice (MEP) - This programme provides a unique and exciting opportunity for new teachers in Wales to extend and enhance their professional knowledge, skills and practice. The Masters in Educational Practice is delivered regionally across Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government, by an alliance of Cardiff, Aberystwyth and Bangor Universities, and the Institute of Education, University of London.
