If the School of Social Sciences is your ‘Home’ School you need to ensure you have discussed and agreed your module choices with Professor Susan Baker.

Modules in the School of Social Sciences which are available to non degree students can be found in the module catalogue below.

Professor Baker will be available to meet with students to agree module selections on:

Thursday 29th September in her office Room 2.15, Glamorgan Building between 10.00am and 12.00pm.

You will need to fill in the ‘International Students’ form (below) and bring it with you.  The form needs to be signed by Professor Baker and returned to the Undergraduate Office, Room 0.06, Glamorgan Building.  Once you have agreed modules with Professor Baker you will need to select your modules online (sims.cf.ac.uk) and complete the module selection task.   To access the task you will need to log on to Sims Online (http://sims.cf.ac.uk). The School of Social Sciences Computer Room (0.88, Glamorgan Building) will be open for students to use on Thursday 29th September from 10am to 12pm.

If you wish to select modules run by another school you will need to seek approval from that school.  You should seek approval before making your selections online.

If you are here for one semester only you should ensure you select the 10 credit SOCSI module codes.  You will attend the same classes as students doing the 20 credit modules but your assessment will be 100% coursework.

If you are here for the full academic year then you will need to select the 20 credit SOCSI module codes.  You will attend the same classes and will follow the assessment as specified in the module catalogues.
